I don't know how many times I've heard how 'bad' chocolate is for your health. Nothing could be further from the truth. Chocolate contains iron, manganese, magnesium, flavonols, antioxidants and healthy fat. It is one of the best things for your health. Where people go wrong is equating chocolate with chocolate candy. Because chocolate is bitter, it is commonly infused with cream and sugar, making it taste good, but adding sugar and 'bad' fat, which is not the wisest health choice. So let's be clear. Chocolate candy is not a healthful choice; but chocolate--real chocolate is a godsend. (just a reminder--be careful about your word choice. Words matter!)
